My name is Adrian Gould, the web designer / developer behind this little look at small web site development. The site is here to demonstrate what I have done in the past and, just maybe introduce some neat tricks and tips for fellow developers and designers.
I started using computers in 1979 when I went to high school at Sir William Borlase School in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, UK.
This school is famous for having Mary Shelly (Frankenstein author) living next to it and for her sitting writing under the cedar tree that stood between the school playing fields and the main buuildings.
I studied and completed O-Levels then A-Levels at the school, before joining a small software company (Cyclops Systems) who were also based in Marlow.
I left this company after managing to gain entry to universty at the University of Reading, Berkshire. I was originally there to study Cybernetics and Computer Science, but ended up after my first year becoming a computer science single honours student.
Three years later (1989) I graduated with a 2(ii) Computer Science degree with honours. (Second class honours degree in the secondary division of merit.)
