As we know I was approached to create a very quick web site for the IT section at Swan TAFE (Tertiary And Further Education) as part of my “day job”.This site was not the best, and was more corporate in the style it portrayed rather than appealing to the client, as in the 16 to 24 year old members of the community.
So with this in mind version 2 of the site was developed and a CMS added to make it easier to maintain, and also get members of the staff involved.
Pixel sized people, or at least miniature icons may be useful to some who want to plot relationships, indicate some form of “level” or such like.
I decided to enter the WA Mac Users Group site redesign competition.
The design is based on Macintosh concepts without too many airy bits in it.
Kept it simple with some colour to bring out important areas.

I decided to add a few extra items to this site, in the form of the “Related Posts” and the “Light Box” plugin that zooms pictures up over the current screen.
